The Church of Saint-François-Xavier de Batiscan was erected in 1866 and is today one of the oldest churches made with plaster that is still standing in Quebec. The dimensions of the church are not very impressive, but the decorations that embellish its walls make it a beautiful chapel. You can visit the church by yourself or accompanied by a guide, who will tell you the story of the church as well as a few savoury anecdotes about the village.
