Crossed by the river of the same name, Parc de la rivière Batiscan offers you some magnificent landscapes made up of falls, rapids and water basins on an area of 1000 acres in the heart of the province of Québec. The park is not just beautiful to see, there are also many things to do. It is possible to enjoy many outdoors activities like hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, swimming and camping. With 25 kilometres of trails, your legs will definitely need to be up to the challenge. Moreover, numerous nature interpretation activities are offered as well as many other types of activities presented throughout the summer.
Parc de la rivière Batiscan has given itself the mandate to preserve and educate the public on the environment and to integrate outdoors activities at the same time. So far, this regional park has greatly achieved its mission. There is thus no doubt that Parc de la rivière Batiscan is a treasure of Mauricie not to be missed!
