
The Church of Saint-Pierre de Shawinigan was erected between 1908 and 1937 and presents numerous decoration objects. In fact, the church was decorated by the Italian artist Guido Nincheri between 1930 and 1961. Inside the church, you can admire a total of 26 stained-glass windows illustrating the life of Saint-Pierre, to which the church is dedicated, obviously. The church also has many frescoes and wall paintings. The imposing Casavant organ that makes the walls of the church vibrate dates back to 1930 and has three keyboards and 33 stops. Visitors can also see an exhaustive collection of liturgical objects and sacerdotal clothes.
