Parc de l'Île Melville is made of two islands: Melville and Banane, a vast forest and a mountain. It is located in the heart of the city of Shawinigan. The majestic Saint-Maurice River runs alongside this beautiful area.

Tourist and recreational activities of the park are perfectly mixed with the concept of preservation and improvement of the natural habitat. For accommodation, the park includes a camping ground as well as a lodge. Loads of outdoor activities are also offered such as tree-top games, the renting of watercrafts and bikes, a marina, forest hiking, alpine and cross-country skiing and snowshoes trails, ice skating, etc.

Camping ground open from May 15 to October 15.

Tree-top Adventure open for groups, on demand, from April to the end of October. In high season, open from mid-May to mid-October.

Auberge of 12 rooms open year round.

Rental boats sailing (canoe, kayak, pedalo) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Rent a bicycle during the high season from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Rent a meeting room near the river (maximum of 120 people) open year round.

Mountain of 70 m for tube sliding and skiing, open from december to march.
