Our Inn “Auberge du Trappeur” is located at the entrance of La Mauricie National Park, on the site of Mokotakan which is devoted to sharing Native culture. Nature lovers can experience a variety of outdoor activities: guided black bear watching, moose and beaver watching, canoeing, kayaking, walking trails, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing with trapping interpretation. Aside from our 10 renovated comfortable and welcoming rooms, we offer accommodation in teepees onsite at Mokotakan or in one of our holiday cottages. Our restaurant offers a variety of wild meat specialties such as Caribou. We recommend our favourable package deals. Come to stand in one of our beautiful cottages! Our Chalet de l'île is a 12 min drive from the Inn “Auberge Refuge du Trappeur” on a beautiful island accessible by car. It's the only cottage on the island! Equipped chalet with the view on the lake, large terrace with BBQ. Le Chalet du Trappeur is located next to the Auberge du Trapper (1 minute walk) and 500 m from La Mauricie National Park. A canoe and a rowboat are available for beautiful excursions on the lake.
