The Par Excellence Showcase of World Poetry
The International Festival of Poetry represents 400 activities taking place in 90 different locations (cafés, bars, restaurants, breweries, art galleries, parks, theatres) as well as 100 poets coming from 30 countries and the 5 continents. During the Festival, poetry is accompanied by music: world music, jazz and opera await you! The words of about a hundred guest poets will brighten your days and evenings. A path of 300 love poems is displayed on the walls of downtown Trois-Rivières, the poetry capital. Lectures, workshops, gatherings and magical moments are on the menu. Share the love for the words of these passionate poets during the 25th edition of the International Festival of Poetry highlighting the 375th anniversary celebrations of the city of Trois-Rivières.
