The Thousand and One Voices Festival!
For 16 years now, the VoiceFest of Trois-Rivières offers each summer 10 days of festivities for locals and tourists. With more than 300 000 spectators each year, the FestiVoix, established in the heart of downtown Trois-Rivières on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, is the main cultural event in Mauricie.
The rich and varied programming of the VoiceFest offers more than 80 shows spread over 15 outdoor and indoor stages. Many artists will be part of this 2009 edition including CCR, Daniel Bélanger, Robert Charlebois, Ariane Moffatt, Steve Hill, Mes Aïeux, Éric Lapointe, Ima, Marie-Mai, Malajube and Sylvain Cossette.
Celebrating this year the 375th anniversary of the city of Trois-Rivières, the VoiceFest will offer an enhanced programming with an unprecedented show that will be held on Saturday July 4, 2009. Come thrill to the sound of a thousand and one voices!
